Finance & Admin Clerk

Greater Victoria Harbour Authority (GVHA) is currently seeking a full-time Finance & Admin Clerk to support the work of the Finance, Property, and Marina Services Departments in the areas of accounts receivable. This position also interacts with the public and supports the work of GVHA in the areas of customer service for GVHA’s Inner Harbour and Fisherman’s Wharf facilities and contributes to the efficient operations of finance, property and marina services.

Ideally, you have post-secondary education in a related field (Accounting certificate preferred), and a minimum of 2 years related experience in an accounting role. Experience using accounting and marina software is an asset (Microsoft Dynamics GP and Marina Controller preferred). You are also proficient with all MS Office applications and have experience handling cash and credit card transactions and maintaining filing and database systems.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills, is very organized and attention detailed, has strong technical skills and enjoys interacting with customers and working collaboratively in a diverse and busy office environment.
